12 Days Away

Christmas was nice. I went to the movies with my parents and we stayed home for the remainder of the day. Work is now over and I was really surprised by how toxic the public seemed to be this year. I leave for Humboldt in about 12 days and I'm pretty excited. I already have about 4 boxes packed and 1/4 of all my clothes packed!!

The purge

Totally closet purging and getting rid of a whole bunch of unneeded, unwanted clothes! I have a lot of stuff. You never really realize how much you have until you start digging through the conglomerate. Unfortunately, I still have way too much for college!

PS brat isn't helping me

Embarking on a Journey

While I still have 2 months until I leave for Humboldt State University, I decided that it would be best to start a blog now while my stress level is minimal! I am preparing to leave and I will be departing in January. I am currently working at the Antelope Valley Mall's Santa Set up until Christmas. My high school graduation was about 2 weeks ago and it's definitely an odd feeling.  I recently finished the book "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom and it was phenomenal. I also bought 2 more books by Albom titled, "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and "For One More Day", but I've yet to start either one. Although, this week I learned the gift of giving and the importance of it. One of the greatest people I know also told me that working will get you a living, but giving will get you a life. I will end this piece on that note.
